Story of Transformation

Varney Konneh

Varney has successfully graduated with honors from Cuttington University in just 2½ years with a degree in Chemistry and Biology. His dream has become reality through a Rebuild Africa leadership development scholarship. Without the scholarship Varney says, "I would just have been one of the many high school graduates of Liberia who do not have the means to get to college due to the lack of support."

Varney how aspires to enroll at the Medical School with the ambition of becoming one of Liberia’s 'dependable' medical doctors. "It is my prayer that God will provide more funding for Rebuild Africa to support me to realize this dream".

In the meantime Varney is earning money by teaching chemistry in a local high school.

"I want to say a big thank you to the Rebuild Africa family for your support which has transitioned me from being a liability to my poor parents and other loved ones, to being a provider for them and contributor to the educational development of young people in high school."
